Orientation Programme and White Coat Ceremony – First MBBS Batch 2025

The Orientation Programme and White Coat Ceremony for the First MBBS Batch–2025 of SMBT Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre was held in the Central Auditorium. Students, parents, faculty members, and institutional committee members attended the event.
The programme began with registration and breakfast, followed by welcome note and addresses by Dr. Meenal Mohgaonkar (Dean), Dr. Dhanaji Jadhav (Deputy Dean), and Dr. Milind Chitale (Academics).
The White Coat Ceremony served as the highlight of the event, symbolizing the induction of students into the medical profession. The student oath was administered thereafter, and the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Salil Bapat.
Focused Small Group Discussions followed, along with lunch for parents and mentor–mentee meetings. Parents later completed online anti-ragging formalities and submitted feedback.
