The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Zonal Chess Competition was held on 23.09.2024 at Srichandra Garden Lawns, in front of Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Tryambakeshvar, talented players from various affiliated colleges. The event aimed to promote strategic thinking, mental discipline, and sportsmanship among students while encouraging healthy competition at the university level. Participants from colleges took part in the competition, representing their respective zones.
