VAC on "Photography for day to day practice"

"Clinical Photography has become a part of contemporary dental practice. Intraoral and Oro-facial conditions during which dental treatment are prone to change can be recorded in detail by means of photographs. The Department of Orthodontics had organized a two days programme for the 3rd year BDS students of SMBT Dental College & Hospital, Sangamner. On day 1 of the course, Dr. Raj oriented the participants about the basics of photography, understanding the working of digital camera and various tools & equipments used in dental photography. He also conducted a session on how to edit photos with using light room and Photoshop software. On day 1 Dr. Raj concluded with the demonstration on handling the digital camera. On second day Dr. Raj oriented the participants about studio lights and how to use them in dentistry. He also take lecture on photography as hobby. Another highlight of the second day was they demonstrate on intraoral photography."
